When I googled 'farms to stay'...I never expected to come across such a perfect place for our first 'post-lockdown' trip. It has been absolute pleasure for all of us in every single way...every meal was brilliant. The land itself has been fantastic...refreshing for the soul. We love what you do - the sustainability and environmentally friendly way you live has left a mark on us!

Colin and Deborah's hospitality and friendliness are second to none. We have had some fantastic food - mainly home grown. Their ethical principles are to be applauded.

A simply fabulous break. A wonderful philosophy that should copyrighted, bottled and sold. Simplicity at its best...food was mouthwatering...a birthday weekend that we will remember for a very long time.

The Lint Mill is in a truly delightful rural setting off the beaten track. The accommodation is very comfortable, reflecting traditional tastes and the keen interests of Colin and Deborah in organic farming (they have certified organic status), as well as their artistic and other interests. Colin is a marvelous cook using mainly their own meat and vegetables....the lamb in a red currant sauce was superb eaten in the conservatory and the “full Scottish” breakfast was magnificent.

We've been to a lot of Sawday places because we always trust how good they are, but this has been a truly exceptional experience!

My word! What an amazing time I've had! Colin and Debby, thank you so much for making this last week such a tremendous experience. Aside from the luxury of being able to get on with the 'creative' side of my retreat, I've just had such a great time. What a wonderful place and thank you so much for all the first class food. Can't wait to come back!

A fabulous stay in every respect. Probably the best 'Alastair Sawday' certified establishment we have stayed in and we have used them extensively! Thank you so much.

Many, many thanks Debby and Colin for these lovely days here in The Lint Mill. We were really glad to spend our time at this fantastic place. We enjoyed everything so much and felt so cosy and happy. Everything was perfect! Thank you also for the great 4 star meals that Colin cooked, wonderful! Thank you especially for the warmth in your home, on the one hand for the log fire and on the other for the warmth in your hearts. The Lint Mill is like paradise!

I visited for 'A Beginner's Guide to Organic Smallholding' course. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. Everything was exceptional - food, accommodation, animals and of course Colin and Deborah. The course was so well organised and enjoyable. Thanks again.
