Every year we welcome the swallows back to The Lint Mill to nest and rear their young. Deborah is enthralled by their wheeling flight and captures something of these arial acrobatics in her exquisite small watercolor paintings. She currently has an edition of six different paintings but she is always adding more as she captures their endlessly dynamic movement in new paintings.
Deborah paints with Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour which is formulated using only the purest pigments to ensure performance and permanence on Saunders Waterford paper. Made by St Cuthberts Mill, this superior quality watercolour paper is 100% cotton rag, 425gsm is hot pressed and ensures a vibrant image.
Each original image is approximately 180mm x 120mm and the paper is 190mm x 140mm. The painting comes signed and unmounted as one edge is deckled which is visually very beautiful, and perfect for float framing.
Please note that as these are original paintings and not prints, each painting will differ slightly from the image on the website.
The painting will be protected in a compostable cellophane bag.
