We Are Regenerative

Regeneration seems to us to be a much more positive and action-based term than the ubiquitous ‘sustainability’. We understand what it means to engage in sustainable practices and we do that wherever we can, but we wonder if it is enough? We know that our planet’s resources of all kinds are finite and we want to go further than ‘net zero’, ‘do no harm’ and ‘treading lightly’ in our approach. We want to use methods that restore and improve things from where we are now and this is where our application of regenerative agricultural practices comes in. Five years ago Debby was awarded a Women in Agriculture grant to attend a ‘Grazing School’ led by James Rebanks and Caroline Grindrod (Roots of Nature) at his hill farm in Cumbria to develop her knowledge of regenerative agriculture.
