So we’re offering the last few joints from last season at 10% off. There’s not much left: four leg joints for roasting, three boned and rolled bellies (crackling heaven), and a handful of packs of our handmade sausages. The sausages always go first, so if you’ve been meaning to stock up, now’s the time. It’s the same slow-grown, organic, outdoor-reared pork as always, and good value while it lasts. **A couple of places left!** **Weaving the Land: **A couple of places left!** **Weaving the Land: A Hedgelaying Day at The Lint Mill** Saturday 31 October, 9.30am to 4pm Join us for a hands-on day learning the old craft of hedgelaying with Torquil Varty of Angus Boundaries, who brings more than 25 years of experience to the hedge. You'll learn to lay a hedge in a regional style, from preparing the hedge and handling the tools through to finishing and aftercare. Along the way we'll talk about why hedges matter so much: shelter and food for wildlife, corridors that connect habitats, carbon held in living wood, and a beautiful alternative to fencing. With just six people on the day, there's plenty of time for one-to-one guidance and good conversation. Lunch is organic and comes straight from The Lint Mill, reared and grown right here. Thanks to support from the Clydesdale Soil Health Network, the day is just £45, which is truly excellent value for a full day's training with an expert craftsperson.
