Such a cosy place to be on a cold, blustery February night, curled up be the wood burning stove, reading or listening to music, then upstairs to a well-appointed bathroom and fall into a comfy and inviting bed. I came to The Lint Mill for three days as part of my academic sabbatical, with the aim of getting some writing done. It has been absolute heaven. A lovely breakfast, a day of writing in the cosy artist's studio - interrupted only by afternoon tea and cake - and then a fab dinner (accompanied by an ale or two). What more could one ask for? I'm heading back to Glasgow completely refreshed and rejuvenated - and with 18 eggs! Until my next visit.

I can't even begin to say how wonderful our stay has been but it has truly been one of the loveliest B&B experiences we've ever had. Every aspect has been perfect, the location, the surroundings, the hospitality and most amazingly the food (Michelin star quality really!). We've had a lovely time and you've made us feel so welcome. We'll be sad to leave but we'll definitely be back. I' so glad we battled through the snow to get here, it's been blissful.
