Join us to learn something new in the beautiful, peaceful environment of The Lint Mill. It is the perfect place to leave behind the stresses and pressures of everyday and to reconnect with yourself and your creativity in simple, comfortable surroundings nestled in a lovely landscape. We invite you to enjoy the special atmosphere here for your stay.

Whether you are seeking solitude to pursue your creative practice, or rest to replenish your soul as you experience yourself as part of nature, or you are looking to learn a new skill or craft, The Lint Mill can offer you what you need.

If you are planning a smallholding of your own and want to learn more, join Colin and Deborah’s popular ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Organic Smallholding’, or you may like to make a useful and beautiful basket on one of our willow basketry courses, or why not nurture your creativity on one of our land art courses, we are sure to have something to inspire you. Why not get a cup of coffee and settle down to browse the content on this Learn menu.

As well as offering space to think in inspiring surroundings, one of the delights of coming to The Lint Mill is the amazing food, a real farm to table experience. Colin cooks so you can focus on your special time away nurturing your creativity. He uses only organic ingredients, most of which we have grown and reared ourselves on our organic smallholding. From delicious soups and home baked sourdough bread to fresh, creative salads in the summer and hearty casseroles to warm the cockles in winter. The food is always freshly made and seasonal.

We pride ourselves on looking after you very well while you are with us. Coffee and biscuits are served in the morning and tea and home-baked cake or scones in the afternoon. We can cater for all kinds of diets, so please let us know at the time of booking.
