Last week, my friend Morag sent us some of her famous chocolate brownies, saying ‘chocolate brownies may not be able to solve problems but life does seem easier to face with one in hand’. They were as delicious as her thoughtfulness. How much hope, love and joyful living there is in a little home baking.

Today, on Easter Sunday lambing at The Lint Mill and at our neighbour’s farm is coming to a close, so I baked a chocolate cake to celebrate. Happy Easter!
