Jill’s Linocuts

For those of you who have stayed at The Lint Mill, you will know that the sitting room prints are all original limited edition linocuts by my best friend Jill Kerr who is a printmaker. She works from her studio in the Peak District and is inspired by the wonderful Derbyshire landscape that surrounds her. Although the sheep in this print are Derbyshire Gritstones, they do remind me of our hardy native Shetlands with their soft and well crimped fleece, depicted so beautifully in this vigorous print.
