Rudimentary Spinning

Yesterday, we had a very sad day. We found two of our lambs drowned in the river. The river is a natural boundary for all of our paddocks and although it is a potential danger, we have managed without losing any before.

Today, my friend Mags came over. Together with Dave Key, Mags is one of the co-creators of the Natural Change Project  which I participated in from 2010-2011.  We spent a few hours responding to the land. I knew I needed to be quietly amongst our sheep and their lambs.
